Lia Goes

COOPERAPAS

Lia is an advocate for organic and agroecological farming in Parelheiros, rural São Paulo. She is the daughter of two farmers, the founder of COOPERAPAS, an agroecological cooperative of rural and clean water producers of the southern region of São Paulo, and an active counselor at the National Council on Food and Nutritional Security, having been able to approve the organic school lunch project in São Paulo from 2016 to 2018.

An agricultural leader, she defends environmental protection, food safety and clean farming, supplying ingredients to the main restaurants in downtown São Paulo.
