Jorge Ferreira
Agroflorestry
Jorge has been working with agroforestry for 15 years. He is self-taught and, for over 10 years, has been studying practical botany, taxonomy, medicinal plants in the Atlantic Forest, fruit-bearing plants and Unconventional Edible Plants, with a gastronomic focus. Jorge is the son of two farmers. He was raised on the farm São José, in Paraty. His experience in planning for agroforestry, implementing and managing it, is extensive. All his life he has done land work with his family, prioritizing sustainability and a harmonious relationship with nature.
