Eduardo is a biologist graduated from Universidade de São Paulo (USP). He has been working in the restoration of riparian forests since 2000. He began to work at Instituto Socioambiental (ISA) in 2006, in the campaign ‘Y Ikatu Xingu,’ for preserving the river Xingu, in the development of ‘Rede de Sementes do Xingu,’ a network of native seed collectors, and in other similar projects. He has also worked in the development of direct seeding strategies for the restoration of ecosystems.
