Farmer and creator of the first Community Supported Agriculture – CSA
Executive Director of Shared Harvest, she created the first farms on the CSA (Community-supported Agriculture) scheme in China, growing and distributing organic vegetables to the city’s consumers and renting land to the city’s residents interested in producing their own food. Currently, more than 1,000 farms with CSA-like schemes have been opened across the country. One of the pioneers of the agriculture movement supported by the Chinese organic community, she is currently co-chair of the CSA International Network (URGENCI), and was selected as one of the Global Young Leaders in 2016 by the World Economic Forum, as one of the twenty people under forty years old that influence our global food system according to the NGO Food Tank.
