With a master’s degree in nutrition, he is a partner at Calil Consultoria e Assessoria em Alimentos e Nutrição Ltda. Professor of sanitary surveillance and food quality at the university Estácio de Sá, and of nutrition at Instituto de Educação Superior de Brasília (IESB). He is also responsible for the coordination of internships, and giving classes on food and nutrition education, collective health and professional exercise. He has experience as a food and nutrition consultant for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI), and the project Educando com a Horta Escolar e a Gastronomia (PEHEG), of Universidade de Brasília (UnB). Food Security Supervisor, certified by Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas (ABNT); an accredited consultant and multiplier of the sectors Mesa and Ensino Fundamental of the program Alimentos Seguros (PAS), a partnership between Sebrae, Senai, Senac, Sesc and Sesi; and an Educator for Sustainable Consumption from the Instituto Nacional de Metrologia, Normalização e Qualidade Industrial (Inmetro).
