Rodrigo Medeiros

Conservation International

Biologist with a Master’s degree in Ecology and a PhD in Geography. He is the vice president of Conservation International (CI Brazil) and a professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences/Forest Institute of the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, since 2005. Rodrigo is also a member of the academic committee of the Global Master’s in Development Practice, representing Latin America; co-chair, in Brazil, of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network of the United Nations (SDSN Brazil); and a member of the SDSN Academic Advisory Committee. Finally, he is the author of 10 books, among them two novels for children, and he also wrote several chapters of books and scientific articles.
